Japan, the Land of sushi and sashimi:

yum yum... surpisingly, didn't get to eat any sushi at all during my entire trip... but did get to enjoy it's sashimi... wat can i say... for the best sashimi u got to head down to japan... as for the food tt the japs themselves eat... the average meal in a restaurant cost about 800 yen... the average for tt in a higher-end restaurant is about 1200 yen... mcdonald's over there is relatively cheaper, unlike singapore... the average mc set would cost u 650 yen... dun expect to find a food court easily in japan... in my 30 over days tt i have spent in japan (last year and this), i have only came across 1 food court...

on the food itself, common food items tt u will find is of course sushi, sashimi... u will also find ramen, udon and soba (they are all noodles)... in addition, u also have curry rice... talking about the curry rice, the curry (in just about eveywhere tt i've been to) is suspiciously similar to tt used by mcdonalds... me and brandon came to a conclusion tt there's a conspiracy somewhere...

one important thing to note here (b4 i 4get)... the meals are VERY fufilling (in any sense of the word) ... b4 a meal, u can feel like u can eat a whole cow but after the meal, u can feel like yr stomach is gonna burst... the cream (usually cheese or tomato) or sauce tt they put on yr rice (or noodle) is so thick tt it alone would make yr stomach feel like it can't take in any more things... so it is wise to order 1 meal less when u dine out... tt is to say, 3 meals for 4 persons...
